Hotel de Sal Reina del Salar only cash

“Décevant”

The spot was central, close to the bus terminal. The room matched the listing, but the bathroom was nothing like what was advertised: it was dirty, heavily worn, and old. The sheets were clean, yet the room itself hadn’t been cleaned—hair and dust on the floor. Most outlets and lights didn’t work. We asked for a room change, but that wasn’t possible. For the price it’s fair, but very disappointing; you’ll find far better options for the same cost.

The place was quiet, the bed was good, and breakfast was decent.

“Muy buen alojamiento. tranquilo, luminoso, y bien ubicado, salvo las escaleras para acceder a la hab”

The location was quiet, the room was very functional and spacious, with a roomy bathroom and a shower cabin. The second floor was accessed by stairs, which in Uyuni is quite a hassle to climb up. I didn’t focus on that detail, and I’m not sure if the page clarifies it.

“Convient short stay in central Uyuni.”

The hotel sits in central Uyuni, within walking distance of all the salt flat tour operators and restaurants, and ATMs are just across the street. The rooms were spacious. The walls are thin, so noise can be an issue. Only cash is accepted.

“Hard to ask for”

The value for money was excellent, and the staff were helpful.
