The only thing that worked was the location. The place was dirty, damp, paint was peeling, the toilet was filthy, and there was no lock on it.

The location was spot on, getting in was a breeze, and the staff were quick to help whenever I needed.

The bed was comfy, Wi‑Fi worked well, there was a balcony in the room, and the bathtub came with bath products—plus the spot was great. But the shared kitchen area was a mess: the sink was full of dirty dishes that nobody cleaned, there were empty alcohol bottles, old shoes, and a pile of old stuff that probably belonged to the owners.

I was hoping to stay downtown, but this place turned out to be the worst. The house was filthy, the toilet had marks, the bed was dusty and moldy. Checking in at 11 pm, a homeless guy showed me a lock box for the key, and the door lock didn’t work. The advertised view was a dirty garage with bins. I messaged the owner, said I’d leave next day and want a refund. The owner, Joseph, was in the basement and pretended not to be the owner. He left a note about delivery, which was weird.
