The hotel sits on the outskirts of Berlin, right on the Berliner Ring, so the location is excellent. The apartment and bathroom were spacious enough, and there was convenient parking in front of the hotel. A McDonald’s was within walking distance. The reception staff were fine, the TV worked, a hairdryer was available, and dogs were allowed. The only drawback was that there is no lift.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was adequate with plenty of options, and the mattress was good. However, the floor in the room was not clean and needed vacuuming behind the doors, and the mattress support was torn and hanging down. Parking fees were extra.

The room layout with the beds was fine, and there were no issues with the amenities. The location was convenient for various outings. Because the hotel is open, it was quite cool once you left the room, and you could hear the planes at night. What bothered me personally were the sometimes squeaky doors and the cigarette smell that drifted into the room – apparently we had neighbors who smoked by the door every half hour starting at 5 am.

There wasn’t much to say positively. At breakfast, the kids could play in a corner, and there was a large selection of toys and books, which was handy, but there were also electronic items that played songs or sang, which was not very pleasant for other guests who wanted a quiet meal. As a family with three children, we had to book two rooms and were not given rooms next to each other, but on two different floors. Parking cost €8 for 24 hours. One of the rooms assigned to us smelled strongly of weed, so my son and I could not sleep there; we asked for a new room. The staff seemed indifferent, even though smoking is banned in all rooms. Cleanliness still needs improvement.

Für 2 Nächte völlig okay. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, ein großes Lob. Frühstück war gut, es gab von Allem reichlich
