The location was a few minutes’ walk from the old town, the museum, and the restaurants. The room was neat, on the back side, quiet. The bikes could be stored safely, breakfast was fine, but most of all the host was especially kind and warm. The conversation could be had in perfect English. We were allowed to leave our luggage and bikes because we wanted to go to the museum on the day of departure.

The grandparents’ house is stunning, filled with authentic items and modern, comfortable rooms, and host Chiara is simply amazing—very helpful and very hospitable—making it a wonderfully pleasant place to stay.
