Salt & Coco - Ashwem

We absolutely loved our stay and were genuinely sad to leave; it felt like a home away from home. Everyone was so lovely, and the movie nights were a highlight of our Goa trip. The rooms were super modern, clean, and spacious, even with a nice balcony. The location is great, just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and some excellent food spots. The food here was fab; we ate breakfast every morning and the dishes were delicious—10/10 for the paratha and chai!

“Molto piacevole”

The place is pretty and welcoming, located on a side street off the main road, so it’s very quiet. I really liked the little balcony overlooking a completely green area (my room was cornered). The room was clean, well furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. The kettle in the room and filtered water at reception were great. The beach is a ten‑minute walk away, and nearby there are several services (mini‑market, café, local restaurants), making those few days of total relaxation with a nice atmosphere very enjoyable. The staff were very kind and helpful. Overall, I recommend it. Some towels were stained. The bathroom, while fairly clean, was very sparse—just like the rest of the room and the property—and the shower water pressure was very weak. Unfortunately, over three days, no one came to clean, take out the trash, or refill soap and toilet paper, but probably (as in many places in India) you have to ask explicitly.

It’s literally walking distance from the beach. It’s tucked away quietly but still super accessible—a great combo. The hosts are really sweet and chill, and I met very nice people along the way. Nothing that I didn’t like. It’s a great choice if you’re visiting Mandrem.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The space was roomy, cozy, and right next to the beach. Everything matched our expectations, and we really enjoyed our time here. A big thank you to the host for being super friendly, helpful, and understanding throughout.

“Loved it!”

I had an amazing time here! It’s a very low‑key, laid‑back place—nothing too grand or fancy, but everything is properly maintained and works the way it should. The hosts, Kamal and Reva, were incredibly sweet, warm, and welcoming, which really made the stay special. The food was also quite nice. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside is that drying racks would be a nice addition to the rooms.
