“Fabulous”

The room was spotless, almost brand new, with comfortable beds, a fantastic shower, and a stunning view. The breakfast selection was delicious, and I would definitely return. It would have been nice to have biscuits and snacks available.

“No electricity, no emergency assistance and no response to our complaint. Extremely disappointing.”

We stayed on 3 October 2026 and the experience was utterly disappointing. The room had no electricity all night, and when we called the emergency number the lady who answered was extremely rude and seemed annoyed at being woken up. Even after explaining the issue, no one came to help and we were forced to spend the whole night without power. I later emailed the hotel asking for a refund, but six days after our stay no one has responded, apologized, or offered an explanation. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a place that advertises an emergency contact but fails to act when guests truly need assistance. The customer service was terrible and it definitely wasn't worth the money.

“This was an excellent stopover on our way to visit old friends and old haunts”

The food was just right for us, and the chef was very attentive, making sure we were happy with every meal. The rest of the staff were equally friendly and eager to help. Our room was the loveliest we have stayed in for a long time; it offered plenty of space, good furniture, and a bathroom that was the right size with everything we needed. Everything felt very fresh and clean. The dining area could have used more soft furnishings, but it worked fine. There was early‑morning traffic noise, but we knew that would happen.
