La superbe chambre Japonaise avec bain intégré. Le repas excellent, le personnel extrémiste serviable. Shuzenji est très sympa meme si on en fait vite le tour. Venir surtout pour l'experience ryokan

Lovely environment and understanding junior staff. Our room was smelt severely mouldy and damp. It completely ruined our romantic getaway. Manager clearly hid behind junior staff and didn’t come and talk to us about the awful state of our room. There was a mouldy ceiling directly above the bed. As one of us is asthmatic, we could not tolerate staying here. At $700 AUD per night, this is meant to be a premium experience. We travelled 4 hours specifically to stay at Oni no Sumika. A complete waste on transport costs and our time. We tried to stay for an hour to see if we could tolerate the smell and if it would go away but it wouldn’t. We ended up being significantly out-of-pocket finding accommodation at night time and being isolated in the area that we did not want to be in. The hotel was absolutely of no assistance in transporting us to alternative accommodation or compensating for inconvenience

The room was the most beautiful and spotless I've seen, and the food was excellent; the place itself and the hospitality were wonderful. Nothing to complain about.
