The hotel is very well situated near the beach, activities, shops, banks, restaurants, souk, etc. The staff were kind and helpful, and the place was clean. However, we were disappointed by the breakfast and overall dining.

The location was great. The hotel was poorly maintained; the breakfast was lackluster and bad, and the service matched that.

The hotel had been renovated, all room equipment is new even though the hotel is 30–40 years old. The staff are responsive and genuinely help solve issues (for example, when a taxi didn't arrive, a staff member stayed on the phone with support and ensured the taxi came as soon as possible). Breakfast is simple, but after the third day you get used to it and like it. The air‑conditioner is clear and cooperative. The sound insulation is missing. The hotel is on a street where a lot of noisy mopeds and bikes ride from 5 am to 11 pm.

The hotel was very pleasant, with a great location close to many shops and restaurants, 10 minutes walk to the ocean and main promenade. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and smiling. The breakfast was a bit modest but entirely sufficient. I recommend Hotel Aferni. Everything was okay.
