“Good stay in the mountains with nice breakfast but some noise from the road”

All the rooms had just been renovated, so everything was brand new and nice. Breakfast was very good with many choices and a nice selection, including lactose alternatives. Some rooms have a cute balcony to sit at. The afternoon coffee/cake is nice and very appreciated. Parking is available just in front of the stay. With a short pleasant walk the facilities around can be reached. The room faced the road, which has cars and trucks all the time, and it was rather noisy even though we were there a bit out of season; sadly you can hear it well even with all windows properly closed. The third sleeping place was a couch that was rather tight and not very comfortable.

Everything was great, especially the breakfast, and you can make free lunch packages from the breakfast spread. The room was not clean, I found silverfish, the manager Herr Maier was unfriendly and you have to chase after your paperwork, but overall I can recommend the Maier Hotel.

The owner is a pleasant gentleman. The breakfast was fantastic, and they offered snacks all afternoon with coffee and tea, which is rare and delightful. We got a different room than the one we paid for, but that didn’t bother us. We stayed only one night. In the evening we discovered we were missing one blanket and pillow; we called the owner and within 10 minutes he brought them. We would love to return. Thank you.

“Tolle Unterkunft für Radreise”

The reception was very friendly, free coffee and cake, breakfast before the official time if requested, an excellent breakfast with everything you could wish for, bicycles were stored safely in a locked room, and the room was very quiet.
