“Historical apartment in fabulous location”

A delight to stay in this lovingly decorated spacious home that stayed true to its 1800’s heritage, perfectly located opposite the Teatro and near great restaurants; Gabriella was a gracious host who made us feel very welcome.

The heritage building, built in 1880, sits right in front of the theatre, with the airport shuttle bus stop just a few minutes walk away; there is no lift and the place is on the third floor.

“Fantastic location, great host, lovely room, shower and stairs were low points”

The location was excellent and the host lovely, and the rooms were gorgeous, but the stairs were annoying even though I knew about them when I booked, the shower had cold water all day, and the shower cubicle was horrendous.

I rarely submit a review, but this place is an exceptional value; the view of the Teatro Massimo pales compared to the frieze above your head in your bedroom from well over a century ago, a masterpiece we marveled at the entire stay; the host was incredible—walked us through the place like a 5‑star hotel at midnight check‑in and offered clean towels on our second day; you’re central to everything, just steps away, and the price cannot be beat, arguably underpriced in my opinion; the vanity lighting in the bathroom could use some attention, it was a little dark.
