“Fabulous hotel for a short Florence visit”

The location was superb—5 minutes to Ponte Vecchio, 2 minutes to the Boar/Market, and only 10 minutes to Duomo. I only booked the standard room, but it was a decent size and the bed was huge and comfortable. I would have liked to control the air‑con in the room myself rather than it being centrally managed; it’s not a huge issue, but I prefer a colder room to sleep in.

The establishment is superb! They helped me greatly to enhance my stay. The staff are highly professional and very available. I recommend it and will return!

The front desk and morning staff were home‑like, friendly, and good. However, the front desk and morning staff were friendly, but on the day I requested a taxi at 4:40 am, I had heard that someone would be there, yet the security men arrived around 4:35 am with an alarm and had no idea about the taxi arrangement, so their response was completely inadequate. On top of that, when I thought the taxi had arrived and stepped outside, the entrance lock was engaged and I couldn’t get in; the men were not at the front desk, so I had to knock on the door and the taxi driver managed to get me in, but I expected proper handling. The shower pressure was weak, only coming from the center; when the whole shower opened, the water pressure was weak and unsatisfactory. A bathtub would have been better. I would like one free bottle of water per person each day. Also, the front desk staff should stay on duty continuously.

“Great location for all the sites!”

Great, helpful staff, sound‑proof windows for a good night’s sleep, comfortable bed, and in the middle of everything. Nothing else.
