La Plage Resort overlooks the Ionian Sea on a private beach within Isola Bella Nature Reserve. Rooms and bungalows offer garden or sea views, balconies, and some feature private gardens with hot tubs. A cable car to historic Taormina is a ten‑minute walk. The Fusion restaurant serves traditional Sicilian cuisine, while the Thalea SPA offers Turkish baths and wellness treatments. Free parking and excursion arrangements to Mount Etna enhance the stay.

The staff were fantastic! Breakfast was superb! Service was outstanding. It was great to stay so close to the water, and because my husband is a bit older, it was easy to take a taxi to and from Taormina. The room might have been more 4‑star than 5‑star…

The location and the views of Isola Bella were fantastic; the staff were really nice and the sea was great, but the rooms were a bit small for our taste, though they were complete and very clean.

The location is enchanting, Isola Bella feels magical; the staff are friendly, pleasant and professional, attentive and caring, ready to satisfy and assist guests, but unfortunately it’s time to leave.

Today it’s rare to find a staff with such courtesy, empathy and promptness in responses; that’s exactly what I experienced at La Plage Resort: from booking onward, every request was handled with extreme professionalism and impeccable customer care, an excellent service in every regard.
