The stay was very good in this hotel, ideally positioned in the heart of the old quarter, and the reception staff were absolutely kind.

“Excellent location, but the hotel is old and poorly maintained.”

We were given a large room that combined two rooms, which suited us as a couple with three kids, but the 8th‑floor location meant no elevator and a steep walk each time; the hotel’s location was great. The building is old with a slow elevator, the room hadn’t been renovated and didn’t match the photos—towels and furnishings were torn and broken—and breakfast was just average.

We had two rooms with a hallway between, which was convenient for the family; breakfast was great, the nights were quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel felt a bit cramped, with damp walls and ceiling, slightly broken wardrobes, a floor that wasn’t well‑finished, and a price that wasn’t low; I expected a nicer place based on the photos, which looked much better.
