Family‑run Fuchs'sche Mühle sits 6 km outside Weinheim near the A5, on a historic 1563 mill site. All forest‑view rooms feature satellite TV, private bathrooms with hairdryers, and free Wi‑Fi. On‑site restaurant serves regional and international dishes. Amenities include conference facilities, a Finnish herbal sauna, garden‑view relaxation room, free parking, and easy access to hiking, cycling, and Frankfurt Airport (65 km).

The breakfast offering was fine, but the space in the breakfast room was tight. The coffee machine only had a holder for small cups.

The grounds were pretty, with a lovely garden right by the river and the forest. The reception could have been friendlier; we were rather brusquely told to inform them if we were arriving late at night, even though we had explicitly done so. The staff mentioned that Booking guests are often careless, implying a two‑class society at the hotel. Also, charging 45 € per night for charging an e‑car is outrageous, even though they have charging stations.

Great location, well‑maintained interior, an idyllic setting with a parking spot right outside the door, and nice running trails right next to it.

The location is great, surrounded by greenery yet close to the city, a nice terrace, and very friendly staff. The only downside was poor mobile reception.
