The place sits in a convenient spot, and although the rooms were basic, they were clean and comfortable; plus, a local eatery right next door offers generous portions at a very low price. When I tried to extend my stay through bookings.com, the front desk didn’t see the change at first, which caused them to ask me to switch rooms—a step that normally isn’t needed. The issue was eventually sorted out, and aside from that mix‑up I enjoyed my stay.

The reception was handled by a visibly stressed Russian woman who was not welcoming at all. The pillows in my room smelled like an old man, which made it impossible to sleep, and the mattress was filthy. The bathroom had a strong odor, possibly from lingering body fluids that should be removed.
