The hotel’s location is great, offering a full alpine panorama on clear days. Breakfast is plentiful and satisfies every craving. Our room was acceptable, though its furnishings feel a bit dated. The biggest drawback was the room’s high noise transmission; even normal conversation from neighboring rooms is easily heard.

This is a beautiful hotel I’ve known for decades, impeccably clean with courteous and pleasant staff. However, the service leaves something to be desired: the waiter forgets what you ordered within ten metres, wanders between tables asking if the meal is yours, and on Sunday mornings the service staff are overwhelmed, lacking enough plates or bowls, and tables aren’t cleared.
