It had a kitchen and living room, yet the walls were paper‑thin and the bed was uncomfortable.

I never liked it at all! Especially that nobody greeted you. The key was in a small box, and even though they warned me the box could jam, it was unacceptable that the taxi driver had to help me open it because it really jammed. That’s not okay! It was almost evening and I had no help from the house staff. The house seemed empty, the bathroom was outside my room with a sign saying it was only for me. Breakfast was sad and unpleasant. Walking to the town takes almost 20 minutes.

The location is great and there are three bathrooms! The only downside is the new lockbox and limited parking space in front of the house, though there is a free car park opposite.

What a lovely stay! Sarah Jane was an incredible host who answered questions and popped by when needed. Otherwise everything was self‑check‑in/out, no curfew, and quiet time after 10 PM was expected. I loved the location, cleanliness, and comfort of the private room, and it’s close to bus stops if you don’t have a car. The only difficulty with a guest house is that not every guest respects the rules.
