The view of the gorgeous Tuscany cypress trees stretching up to the castle is extraordinary! The staff are sweet and we enjoyed the welcome wine. Our room at La Pieve was perfect. The luscious breakfast was superb…the best on our trip! We loved walking the grounds and taking a dip in the pool with a view.

The hotel’s location, the pool, and the breakfast were great, but the drive over a gravel road was a bit unpleasant, though we had expected that from the reviews.

The place is gorgeous and very quiet, with a stunning view, and the rooms are well equipped. The breakfast could have offered more variety.
