The setting is beautiful, the reception area is welcoming, and the restaurant is nice; the staff are very friendly and professional. However, navigating the property is not very easy for elderly or disabled guests because of the many stairs.

The room looked beautiful. A large, drunk group in the spa monopolised the small jacuzzi pool so we couldn’t use it. Even when staff asked them to leave during a cleaning cycle, they sat on the side with their feet in and then re‑entered. They weren’t an unpleasant group, but they were loud and drunk and ruined it for us because we also couldn’t use the stone beds or plunge pool. We told staff but received no response, which was disappointing.

The spa was absolutely stunning, and the food and drinks were amazing; the room was lovely and clean.

The room and toiletries were clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the spa was fantastic, but there was an extra cost for the spa and the weather was a bit of a joke.
