The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made me feel right at home from the start. There was a bit of noise from the common area, but I had retired very early in the evening due to fatigue.

The location, right next to Kamuzu Highway, was great. Breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly, and the area was quiet at night. The shower was lukewarm and hard to adjust, and there was no mention that alcohol is not available—actually it’s forbidden in the hotel. I had no food options on site, so I ordered from the menu for delivery, but I was charged for the food, the delivery, a take‑out fee, and the polystyrene container; the extras added up to a third of the meal price, which was totally unacceptable and shoddy.

Good value for money. Breakfast was plentiful, the room was perfect, Wi‑Fi was great, and there was ample parking. It’s within walking distance of the nearby mall.

The place ticks most boxes, though a few exceptions. I’m not a fan of the location, and the breakfast needs improvement.

I liked the location and price; the rooms were clean and fresh, the place felt secure, and the staff were polite. They swapped my room for a different one than I requested, there was a power shortage at night and in the morning, and the internet was spotty, but when it worked it was good.
