The room was lovely, but we were surprised to have to go to a bar for breakfast even though the booking said it was included. A breakfast should be more than just an espresso, and we had no food to eat, which was disappointing.

The host was very nice and tried, but the experience was not to our taste—perhaps a matter of flavor and smell. The building is renovated, the bathroom and renovation items are very high quality. There was no fridge in the room, and the host agreed to keep our groceries in her fridge. We arrived relatively late, the place was completely dark, and my wife panicked. The room was small, the floor was noisy, and there was no fridge in the morning; the situation improved, the view was beautiful and pastoral. There was no breakfast on the first day because the host was injured, so she offered a partial refund. On the second morning, the breakfast was wonderful and tasty, prepared by the host herself. From the second evening until the morning of departure, there was no water, which made using the bathroom and shower very uncomfortable, probably the nature of living in a small village. The host spent a long time on the phone shouting at the mayor. The space on the first floor is actually a dining room/restaurant, with a very strong oil smell; when we arrived in the evening the smell was very strong and unpleasant. When we came to leave and pay, the host requested cash; I said I didn't have any and could only pay by card. Apparently because her machine wasn't working, I was asked to walk about ten minutes to a nearby café to pay, then return the whole distance, while my three children were already sitting and waiting in the car. I didn't connect much to this, even though the host offered to help with the kids while I went to pay.

Getting to the place is a nightmare – a long winding route, especially at night, and nothing in the description warns about it. Even with the host’s map, we got lost and found the house by matching the photo. The room itself is awkward: no power outlets, the TV doesn’t work, and the shower and toilet are odd. It’s definitely not for everyone. I wouldn’t go back.

It’s a bit quirky. The bathroom could use a darker door, and a few extra shower accessories would be nice.
