Varese Guest House

The hostel is well situated, about 5 minutes from Termini and bus terminals. The cleanliness is lacking; kitchen utensils are limited and there’s no dishcloth, while bathrooms lack floor cloths, leaving everything wet and missing soap and toilet paper.

The location is fine. The only issue was that there was no hot water.

The only bright spot was the location; everything else was awful. Only one bathtub could fit more than eight people, and the second toilet had no soap for handwashing. The bedsheets and towels were dirty, the bathroom was filthy to a health‑hazard level, the beds were broken, and previous guests’ belongings were left in the room and balcony. Bathroom tiles were cracked, the toilet cistern dripped onto your back, and the kitchen sponge was in terrible shape and covered in dirt.

The only positive was that it was good. There was nothing negative.

The location was great, very close to the Terminus station. There was no hot water for showers, and it was almost impossible to see any staff. The kitchen was poorly equipped and I could never turn on the stove. I ordered a duvet, but when it arrived it was given to someone else. The place was poorly organized.
