Located in central Assens, Hotel Assens offers harbour views from some rooms in its annex. The hotel is directly across from the Assens Ferry Terminal and 200 metres from the town's bus station. On-site amenities include an à la carte restaurant, bar, and private beach within 250 metres. Seasonal, organic ingredients are used in breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The morning coffee was really good, just like when we stayed at Marcussen’s hotel before. The beds could be a bit wider – the elevator view was great 😀 – but the restaurant menu felt somewhat lacking; if we weren’t ordering pasta or burgers, we couldn’t get a steak or a hamburger for some reason.
