Hilton Hotel Tahiti

The beds were very comfortable and the pool and restaurants were very pleasing. I stayed twice—four nights total—and left my watch, bathers, and sarong during my first stay; they were never found in lost property a week later when I returned. No one seemed to bother looking for it after I asked four different staff members, each time having to create a new note because nothing had been recorded before. The bathroom needs work; the old joints around the bath need a real refresher.

“Enjoyable stay in a beautiful location.”

The hotel was beautiful with lovely expansive outdoor areas, but the beds couldn’t be split so we had to use the sofa bed, which was only just okay.

The facilities were great, yet it seemed short‑staffed at the bars and coffee shops. Standing at the bar to order a coffee in the reception took a very long time, and the downstairs bar was similarly slow. On two occasions I asked the bar if they were serving inside; a very gruff staff member told me to sit down and that they would come to me.

Very nice rooms and pool. Service was poor. Although close to the airport, there was no option to walk to nice restaurants
