A quiet and safe location, nice for walking to downtown Puerto Varas. The host is very friendly, even coordinated transport with him to reach the accommodation. If you’re looking for a place to rest well, this hostel is the right choice. I will definitely return in the future! Everything was very good.

“Acogedor espacio en Hostal al Sur de Chile”

I loved the common areas, the comfort of the bed, and the friendliness of the breakfast staff and morning attendants. The hostel felt like a very cozy place, an old wooden house with good thermal insulation. Only one staff member was on duty in the afternoons and their attitude was a bit rough. I stayed in two rooms; one was amazing, but the second lacked curtains, so even though it was small, a lot of light came in, and it was next to the staircase, making the noise from people coming down very loud.
