“Une petite pépite”

The venue is utterly charming, very quiet, and conveniently close to both the port and the city center, making it easy to walk to various services. The staff are lovely, attentive, and always caring. The bungalow was superb, very comfortable, with especially pleasant bedding. At its price, this family hotel really outshines many others that charge far more. The food was excellent, probably one of the best hotel restaurants we’ve tried. Although some earlier reviews mentioned the beach as a drawback, I disagree; there is also a gorgeous sea‑view pool with stunning sunsets. My daughter and I had a perfect stay and will definitely come back with great pleasure.

The staff were as friendly and attentive as in any hotel I’ve stayed at. The beach we had was pretty. The spot was convenient; we walked from the pier in about 12 minutes. There’s a 7‑11 next to it, laundries, and bike rentals. The Baan Manali team has a great idea: near the beach they offer paddle‑board and kayak rentals, and if you bring back a trash bag from a nearby islet they’ll give you a drink. The only downside was the bats at night – we saw them for two consecutive nights, almost had a heart attack… but overall it’s a beautiful place.

We liked the location and the greenery. I’d recommend this place for first‑timers in Koh Phangan because it’s close to shops and all the conveniences like shared taxis.

“Great resort and staff!”

The staff were lovely, the room was large and spotless, and the pool was great. Shops were close by. The shower head was too low, the beach wasn’t swim‑worthy and was dirty, the surrounding area felt a bit unwelcoming, and the restaurant was closed for dinner.
