The room was clean, and free instant coffee and tea were available. It was a small Japanese‑style room, each floor had one shared toilet, and the ground floor offered a communal bathroom for four rooms. As a hotel manager who works 70 days a year, I've never encountered such a bad mattress; after the first night I had severe back pain from a sagging mattress. Given the cost, the accommodation feels overpriced and we won’t book it again.

The room was very comfortable, though the shower and toilet were small but acceptable. It’s about a 15‑minute walk to the train and very close to the geisha district, and another 15 minutes to the park. Self‑check‑in worked smoothly, and the small kitchen stocked plenty of toiletries, tea, and coffee.

Gemütlich, sauber, super praktisch.Super Lage, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Ein kleines freundliches Guesthouse mit Tatamizimmern und so smart eingerichtetem, toll gepflegtem gemeinschaftlich genutzten Wohn-, Bade- und Küchenbereich, dass für jedes Bedürfnis gesorgt ist. Da es hellhörig ist. empfehle ich es aber nur für Gäste, die - so wie ich (alleinreisend, fem 50+) - im Quartier Ruhe mögen und auch selbst nicht laut Party machen wollen
