The accommodation was very good, comfortable, and the rooms were pretty and pleasant. The heating was on and it was unbearably hot; the windows couldn’t be fully opened and we felt a lot of heat.

We had two rooms and could hear each other through the walls, so the soundproofing was terrible.

The entrance and check‑in were great, and all front‑of‑house staff were very friendly. The underground garage was convenient with a lift that goes straight to your floor, €7.00 per night. On a two‑week road trip this was the most expensive per night we stayed at, though we were there over a national holiday. I’d rate it 4 stars, but it didn’t quite reach 3. The room felt a bit worn and cleaning seemed low priority. Dinner was mediocre, breakfast was okay but the ingredients felt ‘budget’. The hotel sits on an industrial estate, which is fine, but the normally excellent Spanish bus service stops after 1200hrs on Saturday. A taxi to/from Plaza Mayor costs about €9.00.
