“Disappointing stay with poor housekeeping and a hotel that still feels unfinished.”
The room and bathroom were really large, but the room looked unfinished, as if construction were still ongoing. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. The room sits right next to a restaurant, and another restaurant below, so music and general noise, especially in the evening, can be heard. I don’t want to be overly fussy, but the room felt unfinished and poorly thought out. There was a random fold‑up table and a huge lamp with a miniature kettle underneath; the kettle’s cable didn’t reach a plug, making it awkward and potentially dangerous. The bathroom is large, yet there is nowhere near the shower or washbasin to hang or leave towels, so you end up walking across a dripping, slippery floor. The biggest issue was the lack of cleaning: over three days the room was never cleaned, bins weren’t changed, cups weren’t washed, and I had to ask for fresh towels. For a multi‑night stay, that’s unacceptable. There is no reception; the entrance to the rooms is on the other side of the building and staff from the restaurant/bar handle check‑in. They were functional, but there was no welcome, no explanation of the hotel or its facilities, and no real assistance. The whole interaction felt purely transactional. The hotel has potential, and hopefully it will improve its standards over time, but right now it feels more like an unfinished concept than a properly run hotel.
