We moved into a huge room with very high ceilings, and we were told it was the oldest palazzo in the historic old town. The location and ambience earned full marks. The bathroom was well equipped, and cosmetics were provided. Breakfast was a buffet with typical Italian dishes plus other specialties, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc. Cappuccino was freshly brewed and served at the table. The owner and other staff were incredibly kind, went out of their way to help, give advice, and make our stay enjoyable. The property isn’t reachable by car, but that’s not a negative; it’s just a fact. The owner helped us with our luggage right away, told us where we could park for free at the harbor, and the parking is only a few minutes’ walk from the property.

The location is ideal in the old central part of Gallipoli, and the management is courteous.

The vibe was cozy, with nice evening walks and a small beach just 3 min away for swimming; we kept enjoying it. Parking is outside the old town centre and the stairs are a bit of a hassle, but finding the place in the narrow streets is easy. It was a bit off‑season and the breakfast ran a little late.
