The location on a laneway with a fabulous coffee palace nearby was lovely, but the TV kept breaking even after being 'fixed', so I ended up not watching TV at all.

I stayed one night on 01/09, and the staff were super friendly and sweet. The only thing I didn't like was that the home didn't have bottled water ready in the room, so we had to go downstairs to get a drink. Hiuhiu.

The furniture was nice and the style of the hotel was very cool, with a little relaxing jazz music playing. It was a pleasant experience overall. The reception was warm, the beds were comfortable, and they even offered scooter rentals on site 👌. However, there was no air‑conditioning in the hotel (only in the rooms), which unfortunately made it hard to relax and enjoy the communal areas that were otherwise so welcoming. The room itself wasn’t clean: there was dried food on the walls, greasy fingerprints on the windows, and the bathroom was very old. The water smelled like stagnant water, and the shower taps hadn’t been washed. Disappointing :/ The online photos of the bathrooms don’t reflect reality.
