Staff were very welcoming when we arrived. A cheap stay for our one night after an event. Cigarette smell in the room & strong chemical smell in the bathroom. A few stains on the carpet. Only two pillows on the double bed and one towel between two people

I have seen some scores on here, this hotel dose not deserve a 1. When I arrived at the hotel I found the carparking to be a bit confusing, however the manager came out and explained to me where I could park, He then took me inside the hotel and then to my room and explained how everything worked. (Good customer service). The room was clean and warm. The bed was comfortable, the tea tray was good, had plenty of tea, coffee and sugar, and a bottle of water, the bathroom was clean and I had a hot towel rail (some big change hotels don't have this). I agree some areas could could with some updating, however for me my room and bath was clean. Also nice big towels. I would stay here again , when visiting The King Power stadium. The area is a bit run down, however the hotel is in a good location it you are going to the visit the stadium

Location was ideal and having parking outside the guest house was great

Location was good for what we needed it for. Room was very basic old poor condition furniture.only gave us 1 towel for 2 people and the carpets were full of stains
