The location was good and the facility was clean and neat on check‑in, but the rooms are not serviced daily—apparently it’s an extra charge—and this should be communicated upfront so guests understand why it’s relatively cheaper; the place is self‑check‑in and self‑service, so that also needs to be stated from the start.

The responsible person did not bother to respond to two of my requests via text during my stay when I needed help, and the self‑catering service only offered a microwave and tea.

The bed and shower facilities were lovely and comfy, and I appreciated the owner following up to see if I was okay. However, the basin lacks a plug, there are no containers for the microwave, no tea is available, backup power isn’t offered, the swimming pool and porch aren’t clean, there are no blinds for privacy when curtains are open, people were noisy, and it’s a pity there is no DSTV.

The spot’s location was convenient and easy to reach, but the room lacked basic items: only 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 knives, and forks were provided, and there was no washcloth, sink plug, bowls, or tin opener.
