“Luxurious stay in picturesque canyon!”

This place ranks among the best we’ve ever stayed at after traveling a lot; it’s my second visit to Dalasetur. The luxury is evident in every detail, from radiant floor heating to high‑end linens. The lodge sits quietly in a stunning canyon, and the owner is exceptionally friendly, communicative, and helpful. We’ll definitely return—it’s by far the finest accommodation we’ve experienced in Iceland.

“Beautiful stand alone accommodation in mountain valley near clear water stream.”

The property is gorgeous, tucked into a mountain valley just a minute’s walk from a clear water stream, where the hot tub by the stream was a highlight. Having a washer/dryer combo in the room was a lifesaver for our laundry needs. The host, Daniel, is on site and extremely helpful whenever we need support. There’s also a pleasant breakfast room in a greenhouse. We stayed in 12 hotels over our two‑week trip, and this was by far our favorite.

Daniel welcomed us warmly and explained everything. The houses lack nothing. The beautiful garden and the hot pool by the river are perfect for escaping into another world. We have to leave after three days, but we would come back anytime. Everything was perfect.

“Phantastischer Aufenthalt an einem tollen Ort”

We loved everything about the accommodation! The house is cozy, fully equipped for a perfect stay. Its location is breathtaking, surrounded by great nature with views of the surrounding mountains. We especially adored the geothermal hot pot by the river, about a 3‑minute walk on the expansive grounds, where we even saw the Northern Lights. Daniel is a charming, friendly host who takes great care of guests. Thank you for letting us stay; we’re already looking forward to seeing you again and will miss Yogi 😀. Nothing, it’s simply perfect!
