“Bungalow nel bosco sloveno”

The property sits right on the Italy/Slovenia border, making it convenient for exploring both Trieste and the Slovene Karst. We stayed in small wooden bungalows that had a few spiders but that didn't bother us, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The facilities were spotless and huge. At night we could hear wolves and various forest animals like owls, owls, and badgers. The owners, Sonja and Godan, were extremely kind and helpful; upon arrival they offered us a great wine (teran) from a cousin’s production. Highly recommended, and if we ever return to the area we’ll stay with them again!

We loved staying in the huts right in the middle of nature, it was very peaceful 🤩. We appreciated Sonja’s hospitality; she was very welcoming and kind and helped us with some recommendations 🙏. Thanks a lot and see you soon 😀

Nice accommodation in nature, simple but clean little cabins, just for sleeping (furnished only with a bed, no wardrobes or other furniture), a table and two chairs in front of each cabin. Good lodging if the weather is nice. Shared showers and toilets (men and women together), an outdoor kitchen with basic equipment, parking in a locked area. We were the only ones in the area during our stay, everything was just for us and the weather was great, so we were satisfied with the lodging, but with more people and rain it wasn’t so good. In the cabin we had a little intruder – a scorpion :-) But we avoided it and survived without health damage :-). Shared showers and toilets men and women together. With higher occupancy and bad weather it wasn’t great.

“It looked like an amazing place, however upon our arrival we noticed a scorpio on the bed. We did not feel safe staying”
