The place is gorgeous, a great starting point for bike rides or longer walks. The furnishings feel like a castle, truly magical. Breakfasts are excellent, and in the evening you can relax in the Lounge. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

We stayed one night at Renaissancehotel Raffelsberger Hof during our trip to the Haweck Valley, and from the moment we arrived we felt we were in a special place. The hotel has an exceptional historic character, with an impressive ancient building and an authentic atmosphere that perfectly matches the valley’s vibe. Its location in the heart of the town and Wiesenkirchen is excellent – quiet, beautiful, and very convenient for exploring the area. The room was pleasant, clean, and very comfortable, and the overall mood of the hotel was calm and inviting. The staff were courteous, smiling, and very helpful, and the hospitality felt personal and not impersonal. Breakfast was one of the highlights – rich, fresh, and served with love and attention to detail. The hotel also has a pleasant lounge area that invites you to stay a bit longer and relax. It’s open 24 hours and offers a self‑serve wine or beer (room‑registered). Even though we were only there for one night, we definitely felt we could stay a few more days. It’s a place full of charm, character, and atmosphere, and a great choice for anyone who wants to experience the Haweck Valley in a relaxed, authentic way. Highly recommended – and if we return to the valley, we’ll gladly stay here again.

Breakfast was especially appreciated. The lounge offered self‑serve snacks late in the evening. Free, good parking for your own car was also available. The room and bathroom had a somewhat older look, but they were clean. The toiletries in the room weren’t top‑class.
