Breakfast was very good and complete, and both the outdoor and indoor pools were great. A more modern TV in the rooms would have been nice.

The food, bar and bed were really good. It is said to be 5 stars, but that’s not how I felt; some parts of the building’s structure and the spa amenities weren’t well maintained, and the pool wasn’t very warm. On the day of checkout we were told we had to leave early because the entire hotel had been rented for an event.

The calmness was appreciated.

I especially loved the attention from the hotel staff, the view of the Douro, and the heated infinity pool. Nothing to point out.
