The restaurant food was mediocre and pricey – the starter was supposedly Vitello Tonnato. Breakfast was satisfactory, but the location felt unwelcoming and crowded.

At Kasteel Vaalsbroek I expected a friendly personal check‑in, yet everything is now fully digital – a missed opportunity. I remember the castle from years ago but notice a lot of decline, especially the routing and signage, which feel like a joke. Small signs near the toilet roll, poorly written floor signs in the lift, etc. Upon arrival the restaurant was already booked days in advance. The bar was messy, dirty and unwelcoming.

domaine dans un paysage magnifique, acceuil correct, chambre spacieuse, domage que je n'ai pas fait attention lors de la reservation et on a eu deux lits simples (peu pratique et comfortable). Petit-déjeneur très bon par contre pour acceder la salle du petit-dej, il faut sortir à l'exterieur et marcher jusqu'au batiment (kasteel) principal. Peut-être, pas la meilleure chose quand il fait froid et il pleut. petit-déjenuer dans le batiment à part qu'il faut acceder par l'exterieur
