The price is good. It’s not very large, so with two big suitcases it feels a bit tight but you get what you pay for. I arrived late and left early, so it worked out.

“A cute little old hotel in Sano”

The staff at the hotel consistently deliver top‑class service, and the rooms are very affordable. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offers a wide range of options and even lets you make your own waffles. The hotel is old and a bit worn, but it remains one of the cheapest in the area, and the beds are soft. The staff are very friendly. I have stayed here several times whenever I needed a place to spend the night in Sano. However, the place could benefit from some beautification work—new carpet, fresh wallpaper, and the like would make it more appealing. The pillows were decent for me; there were at least two types—one with a buckwheat base topped with cotton and another flat, cotton‑stuffed pillow—but my spouse found both too hard or flat for his preference. Side‑sleepers might need to request extra pillows.

Check‑in was late, but the staff handled it politely. It’s cheap, and everyone on the team was lovely! The only downside: we all came with backpacks, so it would have been nice to have hooks or a place to put them.
