I appreciated the generous room size and comfortable bed, and my requests were handled promptly, making most of my stay enjoyable. I didn’t realize the pool was indoors, which turned out to be a mistake on my part for not checking the amenities list, and the resulting noise made it hard to relax.

The place was spotless, a last‑minute room was available, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was nothing I didn’t like.

It works well for a 70‑mile trip with a pet, though the building feels odd with very low ceilings in the hallways. On arrival, the lobby had a reception area with tables and an abandoned dessert that stayed there the next day—an unflattering first impression. The public‑space air conditioning was broken, but my room was clean and suitable for us. Breakfast cost $10; we probably should have skipped it.

The hotel sits a bit outside the town center, so walking isn’t practical.

The appearance and access to various facilities let me check in early. However, there was no microwave in the rooms.
