When we arrived, there were stains on the bathroom, spiders in the sink and shower, and stains around the toilet that were also peeling. The sink was clogged. We didn’t want to use the shower because it was clearly dirty.

The cabin was nice and the location was good, but water ran over the bathroom floor because a vent on the hot‑water heater was broken; this was cabin number 1.

The lakeside location was great, though the hygiene was only okay and the cabin felt a bit dated, which we didn’t mind much.

The lakeside spot with a small beach was fantastic, with sun loungers, rowboats, fishing rods all available for use; bikes could be rented nearby and the walking area was beautiful; the owner was very friendly and helpful, so we had a lovely time.

The location was fantastic and close to shopping, but the older cabins need a “lift”; they were fairly clean, and the well‑maintained campsite where the cabins sit was a good base for exploring the magnificent nature.
