Renovated rooms in 2023 feature old-Dutch touches and private bathrooms, with some offering Amstel river views. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast, bar with cocktails and snacks, and tram and metro access to Central Station and popular sites.

The hotel’s spot in Rokin was excellent, right next to everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and the on‑site breakfast was great. My room was small but spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and overall it was a pleasure to stay here. The only downside was the bathroom ventilator making a strange noise, which is a minor issue compared to everything else.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, lending me a plug adapter (I’d forgotten mine) and painkillers when I felt under the weather. They knew the area well and were always welcoming. The hotel was accessible 24/7, which was handy since I liked to wander in and out at all hours. The surroundings were full of food venues, bars, coffee shops, and great nightlife. The only things I didn’t like were a few peeling wallpaper patches and the sink and toilet being hard to reach for a 6’2” man—just nitpicking, though I was very comfortable and would stay again.

The location is superb, close to many walkable spots, letting you wander the streets while always being near the hotel. The breakfast is delicious, and the hotel feels cozy and pretty; we’d definitely return. We stayed in a family room that was very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.

The location and cleanliness were the best. The beds were extremely small and uncomfortable.
