The place is very nicely located and cozily furnished, and the view is truly great. The bathroom and kitchen fittings were a bit dated, and the bathroom kept making a loud gurgling noise from the drain, but it wasn’t a big deal.

Raffaele and Vincenzo turned out to be fantastic hosts, always ready to help and very kind. The Locanda feels like a little slice of heaven amid the vineyard and olive trees, and the Sorrentino winery/restaurant is superb. Umberto gave an outstanding tour of the vineyard, making the whole experience so memorable that we’re already planning to come back and stay longer. The inn sits right in the center of all the great activities, letting us visit Pompeii, hike Mt Vesuvius, and explore Napoli while we’re there. Thanks to everyone!

We stayed in a house surrounded by vines, and it was fantastic, with a view of Mount Vesuvius. We were there for three nights at the end of September/beginning of October, and the weather was lovely. Make sure you bring a high car, it’s really handy here; a car is basically necessary. The breakfast location was at the winery, just a stone’s throw away. We had to walk down through the vineyards to reach the pool, which was fantastic. We also appreciated that there’s a train station in the village, especially useful for our day trip to Naples.

The cottage’s location was pleasant, and the person handling the pool cocktails was friendly and helpful, just like the breakfast service staff who listened to our needs. However, we couldn’t dine at the restaurant, and the coordination between reception and the restaurant was awkward. Inside the cottage, there were no dishes and no oven or microwave, and the place lacked refreshments; the paint was peeling and the sofa fabric was dirty.

Beautiful location in the middle of the vineyard. The accommodation itself was not very clean and somewhat overdue for maintenance.
