The place was very clean, very quiet. The bed was super comfortable, and the pool was beautiful.

“Paradise with the friendliest staff!”

We stayed at the Mango Resort, a small satellite of the larger Scallywags resort, just 8 minutes from the beach club. The hotel has its own pool and reception area, giving it a tucked‑away oasis vibe. Our room was completely private, featuring a front garden porch with outdoor seating. Inside, it was light, spacious, and had a huge, comfortable bed, a TV, strong Wi‑Fi, ample storage, a safe, a fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. The private garden bathroom had a nice shower. The room was cleaned regularly and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was included, so we headed to the beach club each morning for a pleasant walk and greetings with locals. The breakfast spread was great, with plenty of variety and friendly staff, especially Amino and Ingo. We used the sun lounger area daily and spotted turtles swimming just off the beach. Reception staff Tegah and Alin were particularly helpful and friendly, and we loved it so much that we decided to stay a month.

The location was excellent, with TV, fridge, and air conditioning. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were attentive and friendly. Being able to go to the beach club for breakfast and relax in the hammocks was the best part. The pool was spectacular and clean. The shower was a bit old and the water pressure wasn’t great; it could use a renovation.

The facilities were good, and the hotel was within walking distance of the beach, but the hotel at the bottom of the beach was better. The door underneath was open, letting insects in; there was an architectural flaw because the doors should close properly. A fly was there, they dealt with it a bit. The open bathroom was a drawback for me, but overall it was good.
