“非常棒的体验,住宿舒适,房东热情,希望还有机会来白马,在这里多住几天!”
The homestay is a 20‑minute walk from Baima Bafang cable car and less than a half‑hour walk from Snow‑Peak; during summer the shuttle is sparse, so we took a taxi from the bus terminal (1200 ¥). Breakfast isn’t offered in summer, but there is a simple light meal with coffee, tea, milk, oatmeal, and banana—good for health‑conscious early birds, haha. Across the intersection from Baima cafeteria is a breakfast shop with decent taste. The host recommends Baima cafeteria and a ramen shop five minutes away, both worth trying. The room turned out to be two‑storey: downstairs is a balcony lounge with a sofa, upstairs is a loft bedroom—quite a surprise. The toilet is outside the room, very convenient. The basement has two bathrooms, each with a private hot spring; we soaked there twice a day to unwind. The first‑floor living room shows the host’s care in decor, a nostalgic vibe, and the whole homestay plays piano background music, a very chic atmosphere. Finally, praise to host Taka‑san, who warmly welcomed us at the door, spoke fluent English, guided us around the house, was chatty, offered plenty of advice, and even sent us to the train station when a taxi couldn’t arrive last minute. Very thoughtful. The only minor issue is a spider web on the window when taking photos, slightly off‑cleanliness, and a reminder to bring your own dental kit.
