I’ve been a loyal customer of the booking platform for years and have stayed at dozens of properties across Canada. We were in town to visit a sick friend and drove from Port Hardy, but they refused to rent me a room and turned me away. I’m 75 years old; this is not how you treat a loyal customer. I’m appalled, shocked, and mad as hell.

It’s close to amenities. The rooms are old and need updating, and breakfast was just a granola bar and a drink.

The room was spotless and had a fresh scent; despite being an older property, there was no musty or moldy odor. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, but the breakfast selection was limited to cereal, yogurt, fruit cups, and tea/coffee. Overall, I’d still recommend staying here.
