The hotel is close to the city centre. I booked a queen‑size but ended up with two single beds that roll apart; when I showered, the shower and toilet seemed to merge. Dogs cost €10 extra, the only service being a door‑tether for the pet. The breakfast was weak, offering only filtered coffee.

“Perfekt, centralt”

Everything was good as usual: friendly atmosphere, nice staff, free parking, good restaurant, good room, they could take and chill our ice packs, perfect for those who want to bring a few things home. They had chairs and a table outside. The shower wall/curtain was missing, so it got pretty wet despite the scrubbing; smoking was allowed right at the entrance.

“Pleasant, quiet hotel in pleasant, quiet town”

Modern hotel in the town centre, almost everything in Mariehamn is within walking distance. A supermarket is across the street. I like the wooden floors. Free parking, though it’s usually full at night. Breakfast is satisfactory with many options. The restaurant is among the recommended ones in Mariehamn and presumably open all year, which matters in a town where many restaurants close in summer. Four electric car chargers are available overnight, paid directly to the hotel without an app. The drive to the Stockholm‑Turku/Åbo ferry is short. No safe in the room, probably because Mariehamn is safe. The bathroom was small, and showering without making everything wet was hard. The electric charger costs 20 EUR per charge, so each kilowatt is a bit pricey unless your high‑voltage battery is almost empty. The restaurant is a bit cramped when tour groups visit, but for breakfast you can eat in the lobby with your food.

Breakfast is very good. It’s nice to hang out in the hotel lobby. The restaurant in the same building serves excellent food.
