The hotel was spotless and tastefully decorated; the owners’ hospitality was genuine, not just formal. I didn’t read the check‑in details for the weekend (I should have called briefly to confirm the arrival time), but there was no issue—when I rang the bell at the front desk, I was in my room two minutes later. I felt comfortable and will return whenever I’m in the area.

Breakfast was very generous, with a bit of everything – fruit, cereal, cheese, sausage – and the beds were comfortable. The room lacked a hairdryer, but the front desk supplied one after we asked, and it seemed we were the only guests at the time. The dining area felt a little stale, and no staff were on hand when we arrived.

We stopped for a night on our cycle trip along the Neckartalradweg. Checking in was done by phone and worked smoothly. We were able to lock our bikes in a garage. The breakfast we ordered the next morning was plentiful and tasty, and I can definitely recommend this accommodation.
