The terrace was just perfect for watching sunrise and sunset, offering beautiful views of the Piran Walls and the Church Tower, especially during this mild autumn. The room feels fresh and new thanks to recent renovations. The only drawback was the narrow staircase, which can be tricky with large luggage, particularly for the terrace room, the last one on the floor. There’s also a noisy machine (unknown purpose) next to that room.

The place sits in a great spot and was spotlessly clean. The tiny terrace and the room itself were charming. However, the communication left something to be desired; every question about check‑in got an automated reply. Also, as others mentioned, the shower screen doesn’t reach the floor or close fully, leaving a big gap that lets water splash onto the bathroom floor. Aside from that, everything else was perfect.

A lovely little accommodation right in the city centre, everything nearby – sights, eateries, beaches. The terrace was pleasant, though we barely used it because of the heat; it was great for drying beach gear. The electric blinds on the door were superb. We were greeted by spotless cleanliness, a comfortable bed, a courteous bathroom, and the attic‑level room had a nice cool breeze from the AC. The small fridge held basic items. The front‑desk lady was very friendly and helpful, recommending good spots nearby. The only downside was that I missed a hanging wardrobe for summer clothes and shirts.

I asked if self‑check‑in was possible because we wanted to arrive late, and she said yes. Then, around midnight, the lady called asking when we were coming and added about €70 extra. That ruined our midnight candle‑lit beach date – which was cool, but the extra charge felt like a greedy loophole to make more money. When we finally arrived, she texted the code. She could have sent it earlier like other self‑check‑in hotels and everything would have been fine. It’s a shame they added that €70.

We had the most wonderful time at Piranum Guesthouse. Your staff are so lovely and accommodating, the flat is beautiful and we enjoyed the terrace 😊😊
