The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. The kitchen was stocked with ingredients, and overall it was a very unusual and attractive place; the grocery delivery service was used a lot. It would be better to have more pans and pots for self‑catering, and the vacuum cleaner was almost ineffective.

“Nice experience on houseboat”

The houseboat offered a fresh experience, letting me explore the water with a small boat that doesn't require a license. Getting to Ubr and the city via tram or bus was straightforward, and the restaurant and bar were within walking distance. The owner went out of his way to provide all the information I needed, even lending a mobile phone for food orders. Swans and ducks waddled up to the terrace, making it a memorable moment. Unfortunately, a bird built a nest above the terrace, making the spot messy and less enjoyable; I trust this will be addressed for future guests, and I’d still come back.

“Empfehlenswert, trotz Abstriche in der Sauberkeit”

The highlight of my stay was definitely cruising into town on the boat. However, I was a bit put off by the state of cleanliness - the kitchen was dirty, the dining table hadn't been wiped down, and I spotted a dusty mat behind the bedside table. To make matters worse, someone had left some old food in the fridge.
